You would want to start searching in our databases for scholarly articles.  I did a little searching in our business database and it seemed to have the most content on the topic.  Of course you can always look under Education or use the general database called Academic Search Complete.  Here is a link to the business guide http://libguides.starkstate.edu/business  on the left you can use the link to Business Source Complete.  From off campus you will follow the prompts to sign in then you want to set up the database by clicking on Advanced Search under the single search box.  Under the section limit your results check the option EBSCO Full Text and Peer Reviewed.  Then you can type in search terms in the boxes at the top.  Try some terms like :

labor unions collective bargaining  organized labor and add in a second term like employee relationship and management or personnel relations.

You will probably need to try and variety of searches with different keywords and may need to add in United States if you find too much international content.  Click on the titles and read the Abstract to review the articles.  If you like them the links to the full text are on the left side.  If you still need help with this topic you may want to consider a personal appointment http://libguides.starkstate.edu/bookalibrarian

Give it a try to get started.
